About the lecture
David’s written contribution, The Mind Mandala, explores perception, mind and body, and the distinction between an idea and a lived experience. It moves from the experience of entering a room to an exercise in perceiving space, then considers dreams and the sense of separation.
The conference and its audience
The conference brought Buddhist teachers, scholars and practitioners into dialogue with researchers and a wider international audience. It examined continuity and change in Vajrayana, including its relationship with contemporary science, medicine, ethics and the arts.
